• Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters including first aid and fire
• Conduct safety meetings, audits and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action and implement follow up assessments.
• Set up QMS, EMS and SHEQ management software.
• Develop Alcohol, drugs and HIV/AIDS policies and guidelines
• Plan, implement, and execute safety management programs; Observe, audit, and monitor safety on job sites, including personnel, equipment, materials and facility.
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
• Prepare monthly reports on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.
• Tailor-make safety solutions and advice according to OSH law,
• Prepare webinars and zoom meetings to create awareness of health and safety etc.
